Reviews and Recommendations
We aren't experts on wine by any means. We just know what we like, what it seems to go with, and we write about that. We will try to present you with a range of recommendations that will be useful in lots of different situations - from the black-tie dinner party for 16 you are hosting next weekend to the Friday night after a long week where all you want to do is curl up on a warm couch with your sweetie and lick your wounds.
On the music side of things, one of us can claim a bit more expertise. Marian is a classically trained professional pianist by trade, so she really does know what she's talking about here. Naturally, your preferences are always a matter of personal choice, but we'd be surprised if you don't care for at least some of the recommendations. Its hard to beat the romanticism of Joshua Bell on violin or the technical prowess of the remastered Goldberg Variations by Glenn Gould on piano.
Beyond that, we'd also be interested in your input as well. If you have a question or a comment, please let us know and we'll do our best to respond. But most importantly, relax and enjoy two of the most wonderful things that humankind has developed - classical music and good wine.
